Lena (Gigi Leung), Johnny (Lau Ching-wan) and Wayne (Louis Koo) are commissioned to expand a new line of business specializing in merchandise for infants named 'Mighty Baby'. Johnny, enjoying his new perks as a supervising xecutive, hires a neurotic secretary Sabrina (Rosamund Kwan). Knowing that her boyfriend Wayne is a 'baby-phobic', Lena seeks help from Boey (Cecillia Cheung), an expert in child behavioral patterns. Finally, Jonny and Wayne overcome a lot of obstacles to bring their 'What Babies Want' product line to fruition...
Three brings together three tales of life beyond physical death. Each of them exploring the beliefs, superstitions and mysteries of a different Asian culture. Memories Sung-Min's wife wakes on a deserted street in the city after a terrifying encounter with a taxi driver. Finally she reaches the door of her apartment which she half remembers... The Wheel Kru Tong is a skilled Khon performer. When he comes upon a trunk of puppets by chance, he thinks of taking up Hun Lakorn Lek performances. His health suddenly deteriorates, but the curse of the puppets is not finished yet... Going Home CID Chan Wai searches for his missing son, and breaks into his neighbouring apartment where he finds Yu Fai's dead wife immersed in a bath of water...
It begins with Pina Bausch spectacle, Cafe Muller, in where the performance is going on, two spectators, whom do not know each other, share the same profound feeling about the piece. They are destined to meet each other, embarking a journey of solitude, disease, death and madness.
