Two feisty, free-spirited women are connected by a charismatic poet who loves them both. The passion and pathos of legendary poet Dylan Thomas is told through the lives of two women. Vera Phillips and Dylan were childhood sweethearts; fast forward ten years and the two reconnect in war-time London. She's working as a singer whilst he's churning out propaganda scripts for government in aid of the war effort. The two feel the thunderbolt once more, but Thomas is now married to the adventurous Caitlin. Despite their love-rival status, the women form a surprising friendship; whilst Caitlin indulges in her own infidelities she knows her husband's connection with Vera is something deeper.
Tom (Parlck Dempsey) leads a good life: he's sexy, successful, and he knows he can always rely on Hannah (Michelle Monaghan), his delightful best friend and the one constant in his life. It's the perfect setup until Hannah goes overseas to Scotland on a six-week business trip... and Tom is stunned to realise how empty his life is without her. He resolves that upon her return, he'll ask Hannah to marry him, but is floored when he learns that she has become engaged to a handsome and wealthy Scotsman and plan to move overseas. When Hannah asks Tom to be her "maid" of honor, he reluctantly agrees to fill the role... but only so he can attempt to woo Hannah and stop the wedding before it's too late.

A team of local TV reporters are following a squad of firemen on night duty. The footage is completely live and their task is to make show about on the life of these professionals who work while we are sleeping. The first job of the night is to rescue an old lady who is trapped inside her apartment but the routine rescue soon takes a sinister turn. Something evil is spreading throughout the building, out of control. Trapped inside, the firemen and the TV crew have to confront an unknown and lethal horror. Now, the only thing that matters is hiding, surviving and trying desperately to escape. They must keep on recording. No matter what happens. Until the very last moment.
