Nobita comes up with the idea of running away from home because he is always being scolded at home and at school. Additionally, Gian, Shizuka, and Suneo all have their own reasons for running away from home. Together with Doraemon, they all travel through time to the Japan of 70,000 years ago.

Auteur meets auteur in Motorcycle Diaries director Walter Salles' portrait of Sixth Generation Chinese director Jia Zhangke. Filmed as a journey through Fenyang, Jia's hometown and the setting of many of his films, the documentary features Jia good-naturedly musing on his work and his home, revealing changes to Fenyang or even China at large. Peppered with clips from Jia's own films, this engaging and affectionate documentary is a must for Jia Zhangke devotees and a splendid introduction for curious cinephiles.
