Japan's king of ramen, Osamu Tomita, together with five other notable ramen chefs reveal the secrets of their masterpieces in Ramen Heads, which documents 15 months of their lives. To create the ultimate ramen, everything has to be just perfect: the right water temperature, the perfect timing of the boil, and the best ingredients. The chefs are not just cooking ramen to feed hungry ramen heads willing to queue for a whole day just to slurp it up in minutes, but also creating a whole new way for people to connect with the cultural tradition behind this irresistible Japanese dish.
