The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony was held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA on Sunday (US time January 17). Avatar, which has currently become the second highest in all-time worldwide box office grosses (at the time of typing this out, it has generated US$1,615.5million, approximately HK$12,540million) and the highest in all-time Hong Kong box office grosses (broke the record set by Titanic), has brought home with Best Motion Picture (Drama) and Best Director, and paves a road to Oscars.
In the Comedy and Musical category, The Hangover won the Best Picture. Pixar's Up won the Best Animated Feature Film, and Michael Haneke's The White Ribbon won the Best Foreign Language Film.
