Blindness

A city is hit by an epidemic bout of sudden and total "blindness". The first afflicted are quarantined in an abandoned mental hospital. Only one woman whose sight is unaffected follows her afflicted husband to quarantine where she leads seven strangers out. They face danger in the demolished streets, but their struggle to survive demonstrates their will and persistence.
